How much content before building a site??

As a amateur producer Ive been filming some, lots of nude still photography mostly, one of my questions is How much content should I have before Getting the site built and launched??
Secondly Ive seen sites that are "teamed"up with others wwhere a member joins this site and gets access to all these others, how do they make money? How would one go about finding other sites/webmasters to "team "up with?
If I have lots of different types of content would it be best to build several different sites,or put it all on one megasite that has it all!!! Ideas suggestions mentors are always welcome!!

Can anyone suggest a company that can build(or has the tools to build a site if one is not tech savvy)host and all that,or should I look for a PVT designer, what works best??

With all due respect, your going way too fast. Your going to spend all kinds of money, then not be able to make a dime on your shiny new site.

You say your making content. What's the niche? If it's just normal teens, babes or whatever your already sunk. Too much general porn out there now, you need a good niche.

Have you ever made a website? Ever made a blog? Ever learn how to get traffic? I suggest you do all three of those and get real good at them before ever trying to make a paysite.

You do know that most adult webmasters don't run paysites, right? They just sign up as affiliates for other paysites and push them. I would sign up to some in the niche your doing and try to make sales with them.

If you can't, you sure are not going to sell any for your own paysite. Your going too fast. Just trying to save ya some money.

Well yes, you need to make a website first, or at least have a domain picked out. I recommend making a wordpress blog. Get a domain and hosting for it.

Then install wordpress and get the theme looking the way you want. Make sure you figure out what niche your going to push. An all over, general babes or teens niche is not going to make much.

Try to narrow it down, like lesbians, Asians, shemales, gays or whatever. Femdom, lingerie, bdsm and so on can be even better. Once you have your niche start trying to sign up to programs with those types of paysites.

Most never check your site, your automatically signed up as soon as you register. So then you just start making post about those paysites, fill up your site with banners and so on.

From there you can do dozens of other things to get traffic, learn how to write text that sells, learn what sells and what does not and on and on,,,,,,

Then once you know all that you'll be in a lot better shape to make your own paysite, if you even still want to by then! Good luck.

Sunfunbill is totally trying to help you out. It's really tough prying money out of the clingy hands of consumers online, so if you're going to make a go at it, you really have to dig in and learn tons more. The articles at Cozy Academy (affiliated with this site) cover so much basic info.

What Bill is trying to say is that it's very hard to make a paysite, and you're better off learning all the basics first before you get too ambitious! It's like popping into a forum and asking how to do bypass surgery. You need to learn how to do stitches, figure out human anatomy, and learn which end of the scalpel is sharp before you decide to cut someone's heart out!

Unless you have tons of money, and you're not really looking to make any in return, then you need some skills in web design, marketing, etc. You have a ton of work ahead of you. In my opinion, the best way forward is to use all the free resources you have available (educational articles, plug-ins, etc), avoid reinventing the wheel. $500.00 in profit on a $15 investment is something to be proud of. $2,000 in profits on a $10k investment just leaves you in debt. :P

You could also narrow down your role in all this. I'm certain you can sell exclusive content online to other, experiences webmasters through various channels. You'd have to research this on your own, as I handle atypical material (audio recordings) myself.

But a blog is an awesome start. It lets you get a feel for what you want to do, let's you start laying things out. The best thing I ever did was start my own blog. Getting good traffic is a major PITA, though.

I personally find that the best way to attract attention for your site is with your own time, personality and attention. When I'm online, I tend to chat with people on my site. I create directly in response to what specific people are interested in. It goes a long way towards establishing a community around what you're selling. Even when it's porn, people want to buy a connection.

Start with a blog and build from there!
