Hello, this is my first post here ... I'm currently thinking about getting into "the biz" so to speak. In the stages of evaluating what business model I want to pursue. One that I was potentially interested in was producing some amateur content (to start with at least). And I was wondering if I might get some guidance from the more experienced folks here.
Are there any sources which will purchase submitted amateur content? What are the pitfalls with following this model rather than the seemingly popular reseller/affiliate path? At least initially, I'd rather avoid trying to set up a paysite and marketing to surfers myself ... although that is an option in the future assuming I'm successful at producing the stuff in the first place :-P Thanks! clips4sale buys clips along with a bunch of other content providers. You will need to do some research and make some connections with content providers to get a rate once you have something to show them. You're also going to need all 2257 docs and model releases in order to offload your content.

Actually clips4sale hosts and sell clips for a cut of the profit. I don't think they buy any content. They just set things up so the content creators could sell their stuff without having a pay site. And if you sign up with them you'll be included at their 2 other sites (one sells image and the other sell videos).
Good luck Joe and welcome to Cozy. |

Welcome Sir, once you get some content done, let me know and we'll talk. I promote the amateur niche pretty regularly, and I'm always interested in fresh content.
