hello, all around, im a newbie, yes i been reading and learning as much from the forums as i can ,
i dedided to join another site of the industry im a webcam studio owner, in colombia south america.
dedided to get in the industry , just didnt know where so after coming back from iraq i dedided to get out of the marines and i always like cams... now im trying to start as a webmaster.
I have access to a lot of girls, over 30 , so more or less i can get free content from my cam girls.

this is where im asking for some advise.

i know how to design in dreamweaver. i know html, good enough. i got me a good hosting with digidotz. so where to start tgp, mgp, freesites, tubesites, ...

also should i get chamaleon submiter and all the other software for pa's and link submitter
or manual is the way to ?

my goal is to learn as much as i can with those and then launch m own camsite and content sites.

what are ur thoughts if you were in my position and had the available resources that i have.
camgirls and free content, also roughly 1k a month to try new things ....

so please feel free to send me your though ideas..

such an elaborate first post deserves an elaborate answer.

free original content is of course king, but without adequate marketing skills you will go no where.

dreamweaver, html, great... your already 12 steps behind the rest of us.

this game is visual and until you provide us something to tear apart we can't give you real world advise.

where should you go? everywhere we all use every marketing aspect available and you will need to master them all.

are you ready for your own camsite? I can already tell you "NO".

lets see some samples and a futile attempt... from there we can steer you straight, even if you're not.

I don't know much about cam sites, but I feel certain you'll need to address the issue of model release forms and/or performance contracts. The term "free content" doesn't seem to resonate well, at least for me, make certain all of these girls you have access to fully authirize the use of their images and likeness'...

what i mean by free content is that the girls already work form me, so i could get them to do video or pics, in any type of niche or production for me at a very low price of maybe $10 dollars for photo shot, and $20-$30 for video. thats what i mean for free content

Go take a good look at successful cam sites like webcams.com (A Cozy sponsor) and take a look at what they are doing.

See what they offer their users. How they entice you to sign etc. Join as an affiliate and review the marketing assetts they use and how they structure their program.

Define what it is that you need to do, by finding out what already works. That will at least give you some scope to start your own venture.

Then build a mock site and test it here at Cozy. We'll tear it apart, point out where it's crap and give advice on how to tweek the site to convert more sales.

If you have a lot of money to pay for hosting,coders, advertise you should start good affiliate program. Like webcams.com cams.com etc. If you don't have enought money you should make everything step by step and promoting your webcam site on your own. I think that Lana will give you some good advices.

Have you thought about producing content to sell to other webmasters to start with?
That would get you some experience on the content creation facet of the biz. AND if you check out the rates that content brokers charge, as opposed to your production costs, you might see an opportunity there.

You could also create movies for distribution through several websites that sell pay-per-view movies.

The website creation facet of the biz is not as hard as you think, and the folks here will help you out with criticism of your initial efforts; practice makes perfect.

The marketing and the SEO work that will bring buyers to your door IS the hardest part of the biz. It's also the part you will need to get good at to succeed.

Sounds as though you are already a studio boss running a studio, but you want to make use of your models to do something else -- not a cam site of your own?

Maybe you can do 30 single-girl sites?

Or a voyeur dorm type site if the girls do, or can be encouraged to, live together.

well im open to any ideas whatsoever and even providing exclusive content to webmasters, but i
guess i will start from the bottom doing blogs, tgp mgp and free sites before i move to a pay site, but yes , i actually have a great idea for my cam site, but that would take some time. well thank you all i will post in the critique section my early attempts fot tgps,mgp, freesites and blogs...
so you can point me in the right direction as far as design .
